
Duna Aszfalt Zrt. is supporting the safe supply of cooling water to the Paks Nuclear Power Station and preparations for potential critical situations taking two specific steps.
In consultation with the Government, a barge that is currently not required for the construction of the Mohács Danube bridge set off on Wednesday and successfully arrived in Paks. Yesterday, a second barge also departed from our worksite in Mohács, and also arrived there today. We hope that they will perform just as professionally in their new role as they did during the construction of Hungary’s 21st – and southernmost – bridge over the Danube.
Yesterday, our company offered an initial 1,000 tonnes of specialised rubble stone for hydraulic engineering purposes, including its transport by road to the site. We intend to increase this supply. Starting already on Monday, we will be providing the raw material from the Versend quarry, according to a schedule aligned with requirements.

Duna Aszfalt Zrt. is committed to using its capacity and professional expertise to provide rapid and effective support for preparations to address the energy crisis in Paks.
Should further requirements arise from the Government or the body responsible for coordination regarding the preparations in Paks, we will also seek to contribute to their performance.
