On October 17, 2019, Duna Aszfalt Zrt. /cPlc/ (then Ltd.) issued bonds worth HUF 30 billion under the Growth Bond Program announced by the National Bank of Hungary. The bonds have a 10-year term with a fixed annual interest rate of 2.99% and a single principal repayment at maturity. The bonds were registered in the XBond multilateral trading system operated by the Budapest Stock Exchange Zrt. on April 6, 2020.
Our company used the funds from the issuance to diversify its activities and to expand its operational scale through acquisitions and new projects.
Scope Ratings GmbH, an independent credit rating agency based in Germany, reassessed the bonds issued by Duna Aszfalt in 2026 again, based on a comprehensive analysis of the group’s financial position and business plan. As a result, the company and its bonds also achieved a B+ rating. The rating was placed under review primarily due to the uncertainty surrounding investment activity in Hungary, which validates our geographic diversification strategy. The Group’s liquidity position and operational performance remain stable.
