International Cooperation in Focus
Duna Group participated for the third time as both an exhibitor and supporter at the Hungarian–Africa Week series of events. Over the course of several days, the event provided a professional platform for strengthening cooperation between Hungarian and African stakeholders in the fields of business, education, and healthcare, while also fostering the development of new partnerships.
According to the organizers, the Economic Day of the event clearly highlighted that there is a genuine demand among Hungarian and African business actors for joint thinking and the development of project-based cooperation. The event was attended by more than 100 active participants.
GED Africa – an international Duna Group project
Our international activity, the GED Africa project, received special attention at the event. Implemented as a PPP-based development, it is currently one of the most significant privately funded infrastructure investments in Africa originating from Europe.
Duna Group presented the megaproject both through a professional presentation and at its exhibition stand. The project attracted considerable interest among participants and initiated valuable professional dialogue on the economic and infrastructure opportunities in the region.
As part of the conference program, Tamás Jászberényi, Economic Coordination Director of Duna Group, delivered a presentation in which he outlined the achievements of the GED Africa project to date, its strategic directions, and its future development opportunities in detail.
Our participation further strengthened our international relationships and contributed to increasing our company’s professional presence and visibility in Africa.
