Public Procurement Lawyer

Our dynamically growing corporate organisation, involved in construction and infrastructure investments of national and international significance, is looking for a PUBLIC PROCUREMENT LAWYER. We welcome applications from professionals who are confident in the field of public procurement law.

If this sounds like you, we’re looking for you!

  • Law degree,
  • 1–2 years of experience in a legal role or as a trainee lawyer,
  • User-level computer skills: MS Word, Excel,
  • Up-to-date knowledge of public procurement legislation,
  • Experience in legal remedy procedures,
  • Knowledge of the Electronic Public Procurement System.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Full legal support of tendering from preparation to the close of the procedure,
  • Reviewing contract notices, invitations to participate and procurement documents,
  • Preparing and reviewing contracts, contract amendments and related legal documentation,
  • Liaising with external procurement consultants, authorities and supervisory bodies,
  • Monitoring legislative changes and implementing them in practice,
  • Supporting public procurement disputes and legal remedy procedures,
  • Preparing internal professional opinions and materials for management decisions,
  • Ensuring the procurement compliance of projects and investments.

It is an advantage if you also have experience in:

  • Contract law and environmental law,
  • FIDIC or other construction contract structures,
  • A public procurement officer qualification, a specialist public procurement lawyer qualification, or accredited public procurement consultant (FAKSZ) status,
  • Construction or infrastructure investments,
  • Category B driving licence,
  • Drafting documents in English.
