In 2019, a company with over a century of history joined the Duna Group. The KÖZGÉP Construction and Steel Structure Manufacturing Zrt., founded in 1994 with its company seat in Budapest, had its first predecessor established in 1921 in Hungary. In 2023, it was renamed Duna NRG Zártkörű részvénytársaság, or Duna NRG Zrt. for short.
Over the past 100 years, the company's core activities have included the manufacturing and installation of steel structures, as well as the construction and renovation of bridges. However, since 2004, the company's profile has significantly expanded, participating in motorway, railway, utility, and environmental projects.
Since 2019, as a member of the Duna Group, Közgép Zrt. has been involved in the construction of the M44 motorway section between Szentkirály and Lakitelek, as well as in the modernization of the Southern Connecting Railway Danube Bridge.
